The gleam of the Nether Moon lit the way as Vespera returned to Shadow Veil Pass, her steps light with excitement. Ripple, her loyal Quenaris, kept pace beside her, their shimmering scales reflecting the festival's glow. The Ancient Echoes Festival was in full swing, but Vespera's thoughts were elsewhere — back in Naveen’s shop and the discovery of the ancient bottle of NetherDust.

Her hands trembled slightly as she inspected the item Naveen had given her for further research: a peculiar, rune-inscribed collection bottle. Naveen could not remember where he had obtained it, but the runes inscribed on it looked very reminiscent of ones that she had seen before at a particular shrine atop a tower... Vespera’s curiosity had deepened when she noticed the faint crimson glow of the NetherDust lingered in the bottle even after it was emptied.

"Ripple, let’s hurry," Vespera urged as they approached the Nether Tower. It was tucked into a shadowy corner of the Pass, its ancient carvings pulsating faintly with the Nether Moon’s energy. She could feel its magic thrumming in the air. The Nether Tower was constructed during ancient times. Long ago, Adventurers would come by to pay tribute, but the actual purpose of the Tower was lost through the passage of time. Vespera felt an excited rush -- her intuition told her that there was more to discovery about the powers of the Nether Tower.

After she climbed her way to the top of the Tower, Vespera carefully placed the tiny Empty Bottle on the altar and paused, unsure of what to expect. The Nether Moon hung heavy in the sky, and the carvings began to glow brighter, resonating with the energy of the bottle. Slowly, tendrils of red dust seemed to gather from the air, spiraling toward the bottom and pooling inside.

“It’s working!” she exclaimed to herself, heart racing. "The altar is activating the runes on the bottle and is collecting the NetherDust!"

The crimson dust began to swirl more violently, and as the bottle filled, a sudden flash of light illuminated the shrine. The NetherDust filled the tiny bottle, now shimmering with a faint crimson and golden hue. Vespera picked up the bottle, holding it aloft. The dust within no longer scattered—it radiated a powerful energy.

"This must be it” she whispered in awe. “The runes on this bottle allow for it to collect NetherDust after the altar activates them! But what does NetherDust actually do?" Vespera murmured to herself, "I wonder what other secrets it may hold? I will have to ask my fellow Adventurer friends for their help to collect NetherDust for study! Once we know more about the NetherDust, I will share the location of the Nether Tower for Adventurers to visit once more!"

After her success at the Nether Tower, Vespera hurried back to share the news. The word spread quickly: there was finally a way to collect NetherDust -- but what can NetherDust be used for? 

Vespera and Naveen are calling all adventurers to collect 1,000,000 NetherDust. Together, the adventurers of Santae can unlock the true potential of the NetherDust and discover even more about the magic it holds! Once more is known about NetherDust, Vespera will share the location of the Nether Tower to all Adventurers to harness the power of NetherDust for themselves!

As we work together as a community, individual efforts will not go unnoticed. Those who collect specific amounts of NetherDust will earn Corrupted Enchanter and Eventide Beast prizes directly from Vespera. These rare items, infused with the power of the Nether Moon, include:
