Vespera's Announcement: The sanDust Shop is Now Open!

Greetings, Adventurers!

It's been a long journey, but now that I am back home in Shadow Veil Pass, it's time to honor my Agreement with Barnaby. I've made some adjustments to my humble stall and rearranged my stock. Everything is finally prepared...

And so, I'm proud to announce that I am now equipped to accept sanDust in exchange for my mystical wares! A specially curated selection of rarities will now be permanently available in exchange for the  sanDust you collect on your adventure or receive at Barnaby's Exchange.

If you prefer to pay in sanCash, my original Shop will of course remain open for business. But for those of you with an excess of  sanDust on your hands, or who prefer to make your fortune simply by adventuring around Santae and participating in activities -- well, I hope you consider doing business with me! You certainly won't regret it.

You can now spend your sanDust in exchange for rare items at the brand-new sanDust Shop!

Most items from my Cash Shop will be available to purchase at the sanDust Shop using  sanDust . Just like items purchased with sanCash, they will roll over with your account, and the sanDust Shop will remain open and available even as our adventure continues into Santae's Beta period and official launch!

Unlike sanCash, your  sanDust is not tradable with other adventurers. The  sanDust you earn through your adventures and activities is yours to keep -- and represents a way to access exclusive Cash Shop items by simply exploring the amazing world of Santae.

Be aware that as I adjust to running this new storefront, the exact features of the sanDust Shop might change -- including the rate of exchange between  sanDust and sanCoins. I will always be sure to announce any changes to all adventurers so that everyone can feel confident as I myself and adjusting to the value of sanDust.

Magical Milestone: A Gift from Vespera

Oh, one more thing, Adventurers -- you've done such an incredible job building enthusiasm for the world of Santae and helping encourage more Adventurers to begin their journeys here, through the combined magic of each of you all I have unlocked an ancient and powerful enchantment.

I am overjoyed to share More than 500 adventurers have now signed up for notifications about Santae's upcoming Kickstarter Campaign! This achievement has allowed me to tap into a wondrous magic of something truly special that I can now share with the entire community.  From the highest parts of the Celestial Peaks, I have been able to unlock a wondrous discovery! As a token of my gratitude and to celebrate this magical moment, I am sending each of you a Divine Natural Luffin Figurine. This enchanted item will transform your companion into a creature unlike any other seen in Santae. A new and rare type of pet know as the Luffin! Thank you all for your continued support and for being a part of this incredible journey. I can't wait to see where our Adventures take us next!

The Luffin is the perfect companion for any Adventurer who loves ice and snow. You should have no fear finding your way in treacherous mountains with a Luffin by your side: They have gliding wings and a powerful rudder-like tail to help them soar between the crystalline towers of the Celestial Peaks where they make their home. Their dark, sleek coat of feathers helps protect them from the icy cold of the high mountains. Legend has it that Luffins' even have the power to create and manipulate small flurries of snow and ice with magic!

I believe that these figurines I'm sharing are the only way to get a Luffin as an adventuring companion -- for now. Although the inhabitants of Valaria often hear the wild flocks of Luffins chirping and calling to each other in the high mountains, nobody has yet discovered all of these creatures' secrets. 

But I have an idea brewing. Perhaps after the Alpha Wipe is over, we can work together as a community to explore, learn more about the Luffin, and discover how they can be befriended!
