Pearlux's Magical Bubbles

Silvershade's Ranch was full of Pearlux!

With the help of the local Adventurers, Silvershade and Skylar had been able to tame and research plenty of the purple rabbit-like Minimals. They fit right in at the Ranch: Some were happily hopping around in the afternoon sun, others napped in the shade, and still more were enjoying splashing around in the shallows of the pond.

Skylar was focusing on the last group. They could tell there was something very special about the coat of bubbles that clung to the Pearlux's fur -- and they were pretty sure it had to do with water! Skylar was taking notes by the pond's shore, while Hop the Quibbit rested in the shallow water.

Skylar smiled as they watched a Pearlux touch noses with Hop, making friends. Hop greeted the Minimal with a friendly croak. But what the Pearlux did next surprised them both!

The Pearlux swept its front paws over its ears and face, collecting a number of the tiny bubbles in its coat and forming them into one big globe. Then, it shook its fur like it was trying to dry itself off. The motion flung the big bubble directly at Hop!

But the bubble didn't pop. It stuck to the Quibbit, forming a dome around its head. Hop croaked again, puzzled, and ducked its nose underwater. The Magical Bubble acted like a helmet, keeping the water away!

"Oh, look!" Skylar called out. "Did you see that, Silvershade?"

"Sure did!" Silvershade replied. "I think this is exactly what Rose needs! We need to send one of these Pearlux to the Azure Abyss right away."

Dex Dives Into The Azure Abyss

Rose read the latest letter she received from Silvershade and Skylar with a big grin on her face. "Incredible!" she exclaimed, looking down at the Pearlux that had been sent along with the note. "This Minimal's magic is exactly the solution we needed."

The Abyssal Lake was looking cleaner and clearer than ever, as Adventurers continued to fish its waters. But the Abyssal Monster still had not reappeared. Over the last couple of days, Rose and Eldrin had become even more certain that the true answers to their questions would only be found at the Bottom Of The Lake.

"Dex," Rose called her Harlowin partner closer. "I have someone for you to meet!"

Dex crouched down low to the ground to greet the curious Pearlux. The rabbit fearlessly reached up to put a friendly paw on Dex's snout. Before long, the pet and the Minimal were playing happily together. As their romping brought the duo closer to the edge of the Abyssal Lake, the Pearlux shook out its coat of bubbles and created a globe of air around Dex's head!

"That's it, Dex!" Rose cheered. "According to the letter from Skylar and Silvershade, now you can safely explore the Lake! Go with your new friend, and see what you can find." Rose took out an Elite Pouch and handed it to Dex, who took it in one clawed paw.

Dex and the Pearlux hopped into the luminous waters of the Abyssal Lake. The Harlowin paddled in an experimental circle on the surface, then ducked underwater. The magical globe of air from the Pearlux allowed it to breathe!

With a lash of its tail, Dex vanished deeper into the waters of the Abyssal Lake, swimming down toward the mysterious objects sparkling in the depths.

"Adventurers! I need your help, too. If you have a pet that can swim -- or if you have a Pearlux to help your pet Breathe Underwater -- please send them out to gather in the Abyssal Lake! I'm sure that there are so many interesting things to be discovered down there. We need to learn all we can in order to figure out what happened to the Abyssal Monster. Let's work together!"

New Gathering Location: Explore the Abyssal Lake

Now is our chance to explore the depths of the Azure Abyss -- and perhaps start to learn more about the Secrets hiding there! You can now send your pets to a brand-new Gathering location: The Abyssal Lake

Only pets capable of spending a long time Underwater are able to go on gathering expeditions to the lake. If your pet can naturally Swim, they can gather unassisted. For all other pets, you can unlock the Ability to send them gathering at the Abyssal Lake by equipping them with a Pearlux Minimal!

Let's learn everything we can about the bottom of the lake. Rose and Eldrin will examine what you've discovered within the next few days!

Vespera's Latest Discovery: Expanded Pet Slots 

Vespera, has made an exciting breakthrough that Adventurers across the land will all be excited to hear! After spending countless hours Researching and harnessing magical energies, Vespera has finally discovered a way to increase the Pet Capacity for all Adventurers!

In her latest magical discovery, Vespera has doubled the number of pets Adventurers can care for. Instead of the previous limit of 40 pets, you can now allow up to 80 pets join your adventure! That means more Companions to join you on your quests, battles, and explorations across Santae. Head to the sanDust or cashShop to welcome your new companions to your Adventure Party!

Not only has the Maximum pet capacity grown, but Vespera has also increased the minimum number of pets from 10 to 12 pets, giving everyone the opportunity to grow their Adventure party even sooner! To celebrate, Vespera has sent every adventurer two (2) Pet Adoption Papers, giving you the opportunity to bring new pets into your Adventure! 

Vespera believes this newfound space will inspire adventures to explore deeper, Discovering even more rare pets to join them on their Journeys. With more room for companions, the bonds between Adventures and their pets will grow stronger than ever. Vespera eagerly awaits the amazing group of pets that will emerge from this magical addition, knowing that the Adventure has only just Begun!

Mysterious Berries Begin To Appear

Flora Greenleaf was absolutely delighted to see that Adventurers had been concocting delicious Berry Gourmet items using the Recipes she had crafted. Inspired by their enthusiasm, she decided it was time to Introduce even more Exciting options soon!

With her Basket in hand, Flora set off once again to gather berries from the Great Berry Tree and the mysterious newly discovered Shadow Berry Tree. It was exciting to see how much fertilizer Adventurers had been using as it was speeding up the growth of Berries and helping her gather the ingredients faster to experiment with Possible new recipes.

As she approached the Shadow Berry Tree for her fourth time today, Flora reached up for her usual favorite berries, only to Pause in surprise. Something was different - this time, her usual Emberfruit berry was not there, however a berry she had not seen before was there!

"Oh!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with Excitement. "Could this be the result of all the fertilizer the Adventurers have been using?" She smiled to herself as she Eagerly collected the new berry. She went to gather more berries to fill her basket, however even more Unique berries she had not seen before were there. "One, two, three......Five!" she said with excitement. "The new Recipes I could create with these! I must hurry Back now and get to work." she murmured to herself with her mind racing with the possibilities.

With her Basket full, Flora hurried back to the Harmonic Heartwoods, eager to discover what delicious new Recipes she could create with these Unexpected and wonderous finds!

Captain Finn Makes A Legendary Discovery

Captain Finn brings thrilling news from the Oceans of Santae! Three Legendary fish have been spotted, that once were stories of Ancient tales. It appears after our efforts to restore the waters of Santae have made a profound impact! These Ancient creatures, who have dwelled in the depths of Aleriea and Valaria for millennia, have made their Presence know once more. Though rarely seen in the past, these elusive Legends are now swimming in every fishing location across Santae!

Finn could not be more excited to share this Discovery. So grab your fishing gear, head to your Favorite location, and prepare to potentially Encounter one of these legendary ancients of the Deep!

Vespera Stocks Up On Adventuring Gear

Vespera sat down and took a deep breath. Running the sanDust Shop alongside the Cash Shop was a big adjustment that was keeping her very busy. It was a lot of fun -- and very good for business! -- but it was tiring. Now that night had fallen, Vespera took a quiet moment to relax and watch the moon rise over the Shadow Veil Pass.

The cool light glinted over the neatly organized wares at the front of Vespera's stall: Neatly filed pet adoption papers, racks of exclusive clothing for Adventurers to wear, and the tidy enclosure where rare Minimals were fast asleep for the night. The front of the shop looked perfect, as always.

Vespera sighed. The front looked great, but she didn't even want to think about the Mess behind the scenes.

Tucked behind the stall was a towering pile of Adventuring Gear. She had meant to move most of it over to her ship to prepare for her own next adventure, but she had just been too busy recently. And now it was clear: There was just too much!

Vespera hummed thoughtfully. "I have an idea," she said. "I'm busy with the shop for now, but there are still so many Adventurers out there exploring every corner of Valaria and Aleriea. I think they can make better use of all this than I can right now!"

Working through the night, Vespera whistled for River and mustered some volunteers from her Crew. Together, the crew sorted the mixed-up adventuring gear into useful Packages. They created packets of fishing equipment and bundles of bags, baskets and pouches perfect for gathering useful items.

By morning, the work was done. A neatly organized new shelf in the sanDust Shop displayed rows of Backpacks stuffed with useful gear.

The sanDust Shop is now fully stocked with a brand-new type of item for Adventurers to buy: Fishing, Berry Picking, and Gathering bundles full of useful items!

Pet Colors Refreshed

We're excited to announce that the Chateau, Cerulean, Calil, and Carnation pet colors have all received a stunning refresh! These beloved colors have been Updated to their new versions, and we couldn't be happier with how they've turned out. The Complementary colors used in each design truly make them fresh and Vibrant!

Community Event Update: Eldrins' Reward

While Eldrin and Rose sat by the Abyssal Lake shore, trying to decide what else they could do to entice the Abyssal Monster to come back, he had an idea -

"Rose..", Eldrin looked down at the Artifact he clutched in his hands "- this is my most Prized possession... and I would like to offer it up as a reward to all Adventurers for their part in helping discover the mysteries of the Abyssal Monsters disappearance."

He handed the Artifact over to Rose and she studied it intently. "Wh.. what is this?" she asked Curiously.

Eldrin went on to explain to Rose that he was fascinated by the interesting Sun and Moon cycles of Santae.
For many years he found it Mesmerizing to watch a mysterious Obelisk (based in Azure Abyss) glow at Dusk and Dawn just as the Sun and Moon hit it at Twilight. It only lasted a Few minutes however and he always made sure to go there and witness it, to see if anything Magical happens.

Other than the Obelisk gaining a magical aura at those certain Times of day, he had never found any other related discoveries at this mysterious tower...

As part of his studies, he had crafted the Artifact himself - he always intended to give it to any Santarian who helped him solve the Obelisk mystery, but at this point he figured that the Obelisk was nothing more than an aesthetic feature the Ancients erected.

After hearing Eldrins story, Rose thought for a few minutes before responding - "Well, the last time we heard from Silvershade, they were sending us a Minimal that could help us to explore the depths of Abyssal Lake..", Rose looked down at her copy of "A History of Shimmer Dust" - a dissertation she wrote as part of her Studies that had never been published - ".. and I suspect that once we find the Abyssal Monster, we might find more than we expected..". 
She trailed off, she didn't want to over-promise, in case she was wrong, but she had a strong feeling that the Obelisk may be linked to the recently discovered Twilight Shimmer Dust that had starting appearing about Santae.

"Keep going Adventurers! We're about to uncover a whole new way to explore Santae!"

Silvershade And Skylar Make A Discovery

Skylar and Silvershade crouched in the undergrowth of a small patch of tropical forest near the Minimal Ranch, waiting. They had been leaving offerings of Berries and delicious Berry Gourmet treats all around the wilderness for days now, watching closely for any indication that the rare Minimal was eating them.

They had watched for the Signs. They had discovered more Tracks. Now, they were both pretty sure: This was the best place to wait and see if the Minimal would appear!

"What's that?" Skylar whispered, pointing across the Clearing. A couple of leaves were Shaking just across the way.

Silvershade grinned in excitement. "I think that's it! Shh," they hushed Skylar and both eagerly settled in to wait.

The rustling went quiet. Skylar and Silvershade held their breath. Then, something Hopped into view!

"That is it!" Silvershade said. "The Pearlux!"

The Minimal looked like a small rabbit with bright Amber eyes. It had a profusion of gleaming Bubbles clinging to its soft purple fur. The duo watched as it delicately hopped closer to the pile of Berries they had laid out and selected one to eat. The Pearlux held its treat in its two front paws as it nibbled.

Then the bushes began rustling again. To Skylar and Silvershade's surprise, another Pearlux hopped out to choose a berry of its own -- then a Third!

"Wow!" Skylar exclaimed. "There must be More of them than we thought."

Mysteries Of The Pearlux

The next day, back at the Minimal Ranch, Skylar and Silvershade discussed what they had seen.

"At first we couldn't find hide nor hair of the Pearlux," Silvershade said. "But now they're all over the place!"

"Our Berry trick might have worked a little too well," Skylar agreed, rubbing the back of their neck in embarrassment.

"There sure are a lot of them around," Silvershade agreed. "They're pretty much the only Minimal I can find in the area right now. But it's not all bad -- I still think these Pearlux can help with Rose's problem somehow."

"I'm nearly sure of it," said Skylar, "but I'll need to do more research to be certain. Did you see the Bubbles in their fur? I think it's very likely that the Pearlux have some kind of Magical Property related to water. If I could examine enough of them, I'm sure we could figure it out."

Silvershade nodded. "I'll help the Adventurers find and tame the Pearlux. Feel free to stay at the Ranch as long as you like, to research and watch!"

"I will. Thank you, Silvershade," Skylar said. "I have a good feeling about this!"

Tame Pearlux To Help Skylar and Silvershade

Thanks to the influx of Pearlux, all other wild Minimal species have scattered! Pearlux are now the only Minimal available for taming at Silvershade's Ranch via Herding.

It's up to the Adventurers to restore balance to the environment -- and help Skylar with their research while you're at it! Skylar and Silvershade think that taming 5,000 Pearlux will help return the ecosystem to normal and allow other Minimals to return. That will also give Skylar plenty of opportunity to research this magical new Minimal and discover the Secrets it may be hiding.

Where Did These Strange Berries Come From?

Vespera looked up from organizing the shelves of the Shop when a sharp chirping outside caught her attention. A moment later, two bright shapes swept into the store through the open window: One pale and glimmering, one fiery and bright. It was Dew and Henrietta, Vespera and River's two Minimal companions!

"What's got you two so excited?" Vespera laughed, walking over to greet the Iricampus and Phoehen. The duo of Minimals often went for flights around Shadow Veil Pass, but they didn't usually seem so riled up when they got back!

When Vespera got a little closer, she noticed the likely culprits for Dew and Henrietta's excited mood. Each Minimal had carried a strange Berry home with it!

Berries had always been Dew and Henrietta's favorite treats, but Vespera had never seen any Berries quite like these before.

"This is amazing!" Vespera said. "Are new berries growing somewhere nearby? Did you find them at the source?" Vespera asked the two Minimals. 

But Henrietta's feathers drooped, crestfallen, and Dew let out a sad-sounding whistling sound. "So you don't know where more of these berries can be found..." Vespera replied. "That's alright!" She petted each Minimal, giving them a warm smile. 

"If there are New Berries growing nearby, I know just how to find them. We can look for this Mysterious tree, just the way we found the first one! I'll invite Flora to help us search."

Flora and Vespera's Search For The New Tree

"Thank you for coming to Shadow Veil Pass on such short notice," Vespera greeted Flora Greenleaf with a smile.

"Oh, it's absolutely my pleasure!" Flora assured Vespera, "The possibility of a new source of berries is just so exciting -- I can't wait to Begin the search."

"We can start tonight," Vespera replied, already packed up some gear and ready for the adventure. River stretched her wings, ready to take flight and begin the search. Even Henrietta and Dew were eager to help. The two Minimals were fluttering in excited circles overhead. 

"Are you sure? Will there be enough light?" Flora asked. She was always comfortable Exploring among growing things, but the misty forests of the Shadow Veil Pass were very different from the sun-drenched Harmonic Heartwoods of her home.

"We will have plenty of moonlight," Vespera assured her. "It's the perfect night for exploring!"

The two explorers set off into the night with River and the two Minimals flying alongside. Before long, the dark branches of the forest surrounding Shadow Veil Pass closed over their heads. Above them, the Towering branches formed a thick Canopy, with slivers of blue Moonlight streaming through, casting the forest floor in a mesmerizing pattern of gleaming Tight and soft Shadows. 

Flora examined all the trees they passed closely. She evaluated the Shapes of their leaves, looked closely at the texture of their bark, and even Picked up scoops of the soil at their roots. But each time, she shook her head. "These are all trees I already know. None of them Grow berries at all, let alone strange new types."

"It has to be here somewhere!" Vespera replied encouragingly. "Let's keep looking."

Hours passed as they Continued their journey deeper into the woods. River, carrying a basket in anticipation, flew higher above the canopy to scan from a new Vantage point. As the night grew Darker and the moon rose higher, their Discovery still eluded them.

Then, suddenly, River's unmistakable call pierced the night! The Raylen's wings blocked out the Moonlight for a moment as she fluttered back down from above the treetops. Vespera and Flora both gasped as they saw what River had clasped in her talon: Her basket was full of strange new Berries! Henrietta and Dew both squeaked in excitement darting down to nibble on the newly Discovered fruits.

"You found them!" Vespera cheered. "Flora, let's follow her-River, lead the way!"

With a graceful dip of her beak, River took flight once more, leading them on a Winding path through the Darkened thicket. They weaved between branches, ducked under Vines, and moved deeper into the Forest, following the soft glow of the Moonlight. 

At last, they reached a small Clearing, bathed in the cool light of the moon. Flora gasped as she stepped forward. "Look at that," she Whispered. "This is it."

Flora's quick examination of the new tree was enough to confirm it for sure. Even Vespera could see at a glance that they had discovered something truly special. The Tree's branches were heavy with a multitude of Berries -- Berries of all sorts of never before seen shapes and sizes!

"This is incredible," Flora breathed, stepping closer to examine the discovery. "The Adventurers must hear about this place. Just imaging what they'll find here! And with the right care and Fertilizer... who knows what wonders it might reveal next?"

"Amazing," Flora said. "We need to tell the Adventurers about this place. And there's so much to learn about this Tree. If we nurture it with fertilizer, who knows what kinds of amazing things it could Grow next?" 

Shadow Berry Tree Discovered!

Vespera's voice rang out into the quiet night, filled with excitement. "Adventures, the discovery is real! Flora and I have found something truly extraordinary deep in the Shadow Veil Pass. We've uncovered a new wonder: the Shadow Berry Tree. Its branches are heavy with Berries of every shape and color, unlike anything we've ever Encountered. This is an opportunity for all of you to Explore, Harvest, and Discover what secrets these berries hold. Together we will unlock the potential of this Incredible find!" 

Flora smiled as she glanced back at the Towering branches. "The Adventure begins now."
