Good news, Adventurers! We’ve made some updates to Culinary Creations that should make it easier than ever to craft your Culinary delights.

Gather your ingredients and prepare to get Cooking with a newly streamlined cooking Experience. The new interface lays out all your Kindling before you while a Recipe is cooking, letting you choose Freely instead of needing to select from a drop down box. 

No matter what recipe you want to concoct, we hope this Upgrade to Culinary Creations will make your time spent creating Delicious treats more rewarding than ever before. Try it out — Skylar and Silvershade are still counting on us to collect Berries and create Gourmet foods to help lure out the Minimal they’re tracking!

Keep Gathering Berries: Community Event Update

Skylar and Silvershade are working hard on their plan to lure out the Minimal that might be able to help Rose solve the mystery at the Abyssal Lake. What they need now is berries - and lots of them!

Skylar is collecting berries and gourmet cooked berry treats at the Gathering Bounty quest. But now, you can do your part to Help without needing to turn your berries in to Skylar at all!

Harvesting berries from the Great Berry Tree will now count as progress toward our Community Goal. Simply collecting and carrying berries across Santae will fill the air with a delicious scent. Every little bit helps to urge this Mysterious Minimal to come out of hiding!

Send your pets to Gather at the Great Berry Tree today to help. Skylar is still accepting donations, too — so feel free to Contribute in whatever way is right for you!

A Hint Of Twilight

The soft glow of the new Twilight color has touched four new pets. Use a Twilight Shimmer Dust on your Grusim, Nontra, Pippim or Wispyr to give your companion a new look that shines with all the soft beauty of the sky at Dawn or Dusk!

As we continue to work together to help Rose, Eldrin and the others investigate the Azure Abyss, we’re growing ever Closer to learning the true mystery behind the Twilight color. Keep helping to progress the Community Event to Discover what’s next!

Vespera: A New Era of Treasures

Fellow Adventurers, exciting news has arrived! Vespera, known for her impeccable taste and resourcefulness, has been quietly working Behind the scenes to bring forth a stunning lineup of past and new Treasures. With the recent burst of sanDust flowing in from the community event - thanks in large part to Barnaby for accepting your fishing trash among other items you exchange for sanDust. Vespera knew it was the perfect time to reveal her surprise to all adventurers of Santae.

Waterfall Collection Unveiled

After a couple months of communication with Jasper of Celestial Peaks, Vespera is thrilled to introduce the brand-new Waterfall Collection to her shop. These wearable items reflect the serene yet Powerful essence of the cascading waterfalls in the Peaks. Jasper's expertise in harnessing the qualities of the Celestial Peaks' waters has helped to  infuse each item with a sense of fluid, yet beauty. 

Adventurers can now show off in style, the cascading Waterfall Tunic, embrace the heights with the Pinnacle Poncho, or make a statement with the Falls Feather Hat!

A New Era of Shadows

Vespera has also been hard at work with the Invoker of Shadow Veil Pass, who holds the mastery over mysticism. Together, they've crafted the Shadow Mysticism collection, now available in the sanDust shop. These are inspirited by the unknown and Mysteries of the shadows of the Pass. 

Return of Enchanted Artifacts

Vespera has also uncovered some hidden environment artifacts she had hidden away. The Secret Garden, musical Ancient Grove Oasis, and the subtle glow of the Illuminated Candlelit Chamber are back available to all adventurers.

Magical Minimals

The mystical minimals Nebulagon, Gaimander and Halosnake, and more have been residing at Silvershade's Ranch, waiting for their next adventure, perhaps they'd go along with you on your own adventure? Silvershade has asked Vespera to help find perfect homes through her Shop for these Legendary Minimals. 

Chests of Old

Finally, Adventurers can look forward to reopening some of the most Coveted chests in Santae. Vespera has received a rather large shipment of chests she sent to Flamefall Cascades for Master Yushe to look after, and he simply doesn't have the space anymore, talk about Perfect timing.

A Final Alpha Celebration Awaits!

Adventurers, it has been an Incredible journey through Alpha Testing, and I have watched each of you grow, discover treasures, and take on the Challenges that come your way. Now, with the end of Alpha upon us, I have wonderful news to share - one Final Celebration has been arranged to honor this chapter of Santae's History!

The Alpha testing will now continue until September 30th! This will give us the perfect opportunity to come together for one Last Celebration before we prepare for what lies Ahead. Expect special Rewards and plenty of Excitement to commemorate everything we've accomplished so far!

I'll be there to see each of you off, and perhaps a few Surprises will await those who join in this Grand farewell to our Alpha Testing phase. Don't mis the chance to participate in the closing Celebration of our Alpha Journey!

Flora Greenleaf Reveals New Berries!

I have the most Exciting news to share! Thanks to everyone's Consistent care and generous amounts of Fertilizer from my shop, Leaf & Petal, you all have been using on the Great Berry Tree, something truly magical has happened - 6 New Berries have sprouted on the tree!

These berries are vibrant, flavorful, and full of potential! Starting today you will be able to Harvest these new berries from the Great Berry Tree. Your dedication to Nurturing the tree has brought forth the abundant new berries, and I cannot wait to see how these berries may influence your Adventure! The Raspberry is also restocking at William's Orchard Stand, he's been harvesting so many hisself, he has them up for sale!

Fish Return To The Abyssal Lake

Rose walked a circuit around the Abyssal Lake, taking notes and looking for signs of change. The shores were still bustling with Adventurers, but the pool itself was as still and quiet as ever --

SPLASH!

Rose jumped! She quickly scanned the surface of the luminous waters to see what had happened. Was the Abyssal Monster finally raising its head again?

As Rose watched, another splash scattered the surface of the Abyssal Lake into sparkling drops. It was a leaping fish!

"Oh, this is wonderful news!" Rose cried, flipping quickly through her notebook to make a hasty sketch of the fish and jot down a few more notes. "I wonder how many species are found here? I'll need to compare my notes with the historical record..."

The Abyssal Monster is still nowhere to be found, but thanks to all the diligent Adventurers working on cleanup, the Abyssal Lake is now a healthy fishing spot where fish can be caught!

Silvershade's Search For The Mystery Minimal

"I just can't explain it, Skylar," Silvershade lamented. "I've tried tracking this Minimal down as many was as I can think of, but they're too slippery!"

After returning to their Ranch, Silvershade had immediately started trying to find the Minimal they had mentioned to Rose by exploring the wilderness, searching far and wide. They discovered the Minimal's tracks on the ground, but following the trail always led to a dead end. In the end, Silvershade decided to invite the skilled researcher Skylar to come help, and now the duo were trying to come up with a new strategy.

Skylar was thinking hard. "If we can't get to where the Minimal is, maybe we'll need to convince it to come to us instead!"

"If I know one thing, it's that the way to a Minimal's heart is through its stomach." Skylar smiled fondly, remembering when their companion Hop was a hungry Quibblet. "We should try tempting this creature out of hiding with Berries. Or, even better -- the new Berry Gourmet items Breezyl is making! No Minimal could resist such a tasty treat."

"Adventurers, I need your help! Please bring me as many Berries and Berry Gourmet items as you can gather. Silvershade and I will work together to scatter them around the wilderness. If we can gather enough, we should finally be able to catch a glimpse of this helpful Minimal in the wild!"

Zephera Revealed!

We are also beyond excited to officially reveal our newest pet species; The Zephera! You've been eagerly waiting, and we are thrilled to showcase this incredible creature. Zephera is now officially part of Santae's ever-growing world, and we cannot wait for you to explore the world of Santae with this beautiful new companion by your side. This has only been possible by every single member of our community, it is through you all, our amazing community and your endless support that we have been able to achieve this goal!

As you all know, Ember is the heart and soul of our programming magic here at Santae, and I cannot express enough just how fortunate we are to have him on this journey alongside all of us. From the very beginning, Ember has been an absolute powerhouse, transforming my vision into reality with his sheer talent and dedication that never ceases to amaze not only myself, but, also the entire team and the community. Santae would not be the same without Ember's passion, brilliance, tireless efforts, and the care he pours into making Santae the best it can be. 

Ember, I cannot even begin to describe how much you mean to not only me, but all of us on the staff team and in the community. It was truly heartwarming to see our artist immediately dive into creating what I had proposed, just to surprise our beloved programmer and friend on his very special birthday! We have created some amazing goodies, which have been lovingly created by our phenomenal artist team to celebrate this very special day!

New Wild Minimals Are On The Loose!

Exciting news, Adventurers! Mysterious new Minimals have been appearing across Santae. Luckily, we have our very own expert to help find them and learn their secrets. With Silvershade's help, you may even be able to tame and befriend them!

A Fiery Mystery At Flamefall Cascades

The first signs of new creatures came from the Flamefall Cascades. Vixon was no stranger to the smoke and fire common to this volcanic part of Aleriea -- but he had never seen sparks fly like this before.

It was easier to see them at night. Trails of embers traced across the darkened sky, outlining the shapes of flashy spiraling leaps and bounds. At first he thought it was just some strange new kind of volcanic activity -- but when he found a small claw-print in the ash outside of Ember Springs, Vixon knew it was time to call in Silvershade for help.

"Don't worry, Vixon -- that's a Cinderyx! It's no surprise you didn't see them at first. Those red-and-white stripes are pretty good camouflage with all the fire and ash around here. They're curious little fellas, so you might get one scrambling over your roof now and again. They're good jumpers, too! That's what you were noticing at night, I reckon. They go jumping and dancing over the plains, leaving a trail of sparks and embers behind them as they go. It's a beautiful sight!"

The Mysterious Wildlife Of The Shrouded Borderlands

The next report came from an unexpected source: Felix, in the Shrouded Borderlands. Something had been making the Grusims at the Kiss the Grusim game nervous recently. Felix was catching the occasional glimpse of the mystery, too. Sometimes, a pale greenish glow would float through the misty forest. Other times, it looked like a nimble, shadowy creature was sneaking through the underbrush. Felix called Silvershade to help discover the culprits.

"You can tell those poor Grusims, to relax, Felix. You've just got a couple of sneaky Minimals on your hands! That glow is surely the work of a Mistmantle or two. Their wings make that beautiful glowing mist as they fly, but they just use it to disguise themselves. It isn't dangerous or anything!

"And the sneaky critter your Grusims keep noticing in the underbrush is nothing but a Valestride. That's an exciting find! They're pretty rare! Their dark fur helps them blend right in, and they're as nimble as can be. Most of the time, all you'll see is a tip of that long tail whisking away as they vanish into the fog."

Now that Silvershade knows these Minimals are out there, and has a sense of their habitats and habits, they're helping Adventurers find them!

Visit Herding in the Lani Archipelagos to get started! Silvershade will give you directions to find the curious Cinderyx, the elegant Mistmantle, or the nimble Valestride. Which Minimal will be the perfect companion for your pet?

Jubilasaur's appear to be showing up less and less, Silvershade has let us know, they appear to be migrating away for now, but will be back one day! **Jubilasaur will be removed from Minimal Herding tomorrow September 13th @ 11:59:59 SST** Thank you everyone for the continued support and for helping us achieve 2500 members!
